I hope you are enjoying this cool fall weather. Our families have different ways we celebrate the coming of fall. Some families celebrate Halloween or Thanksgiving, some have family traditions of visiting a pumpkin patch or watching football.
One of my family traditions is to watch the Peanuts movies for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I've included an excerpt from "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown."

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry this is more then one thing but, my family does lots of things to celebrate. Some of them are decorating the house with scary witches and skeltons and pumpkins, baking cookies, and most importantly, carving pumpkins. We don't carve pumpkins like nmormal familys, though. I know it sounds wierd but we carve them normally until it comes to scooping out the gooey stuff inside. Most familys thorw it out, but my family saves it for a secret family recipe. (Fried Pumpkin Seeds.) I know it sounds gross but it's actually the best thing I've ever tasted.

We celebrate fall by Halloween, school, and Thanksgiving. I like haunted houses, halloween parties, picking out pumpkins, corn mazes, and carving pumpkins, but we did none of that this year. We might go to the haunted house on Sunshine, but I think it closed.

ReplyDeleteWe celebrate Halloween and Thanksgiving. On Halloween we usually go to Spooktacular at the zoo. For Thanksgiving we go to Minneapolis for a week to visit family.
