Civil War in Four Minutes

  3. I researched the Batttle of Gettysburg and I thought it was very interesting. The battle did not actually start in Gettysburg ,but in a town near it. Also Abraham Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address there.

  4. I researched the first battle of bull run. It was fought on July 1,1861 It was the firstmajor land battle of the civil war. after that battle they realized that the war would potentially be much longer and bloodier than they had originally anticipated.

  6. I did some reasearch on the battle of Nashville, Tennessee. The battle lasted for two days.The armies were lead by Lt.Gen.Jon Bell,for the south. And leading the north was, Maj.Gen. George H. Thomas.

  7. The video is so cool! I love how time keeps going on, and the blue grows and the red shrinks. The explosions were so cool!
    I looked at the Battle of Wilson's Creek. It was also known as the Battle of Oak Hills, it was fought on my birthday, August 9. But way before I was born.

  8. i want to research the battle of bull run. the battle of bull run was the first major land battle in the civil war and the battle was in manassas, virginia. the battle was called bull run by the north because of the stream the that ran through the battle field but the south called it the first battle of manasses. the battle did not last long because the union army attacked the left flank of the south were they were weakest. so the union won.

  9. Fort Blakely: A fight that the Union won because of their bigger forces, they drove back the confederate into there defenses.

    Spanish Fort: A fight that the union won again and they pushed back the confedrate into their home making them lose again.

  10. I am reaserching the battle of Chickamauga. The started when the general Confederate General Braxton Bragg ordered his troop across the Chickamaugma river and Union General William Rosecrats orders his army to fight them the battlefield was very thick forest. The Confederates eventually won.

    The Union won.
