Circuits and Electronics




In science, we have learned the circuits control the flow of electric charge. For this week's assignment, you are going to build a virtual circuit!

Go to this link at ClassZone.com. Scroll down to "Circuits" and see if you can complete the circuit and light the bulb.
What parts are necessary to light the bulb?
What happened when you opened the switch?
What happened when you closed the switch?
Can you build a circuit without the battery? Why or why not?
How is this similar or different from the snap circuits in our class?

Answer at least one of those questions as a comment below by next Friday, September 18th.

    my question is can you build a cicuit without the battery? why or why not?

    the answer is no. you connot. why? because to build a circuit there are certan things you need to have,such as a switch ,a light/thing to turn on,and a battery.

    Q: What happened when you closed the switch?

    A: The bulb lit because an electrical current was allowed to flow though it.

    if you cut off any connection from the battery, the switch or the light bulb your circuit wont work.because if you don't have a connection between the switch, battery or light bulb no energy can get to every thing in the circuit.

    You can't build a curcuit without a battery. The battery is the power source. It's what makes the electrons which light the bulb. Without it, a curcuit is a bunch of wires and a lightbulb that do nothing.

    A: It's a circit that is easy to build in no time at all and it's fun.

    A bulb, batteries, and wires.

    you can"t Build a circuit without a battery because the battery is the power source and you need power for the circuit to run.
